Mitteilung von 2700chess:
We are pleased to announce a major update to 2700chess.com. Since starting in 2011 with manual ratings strictly for the 2700+ club, we have gradually expanded our coverage. Now we are taking the next big step: adding live ratings for all FIDE-rated players whose games are officially broadcast.
Here is what is new:
The U16 Section: We introduced a permanent U16 tab to track young prodigies worldwide, complete with crown icons highlighting reigning World Champions. Additionally, our Juniors (U20) list is no longer limited to the Top 20 and now includes all active young players.
Global Live Ratings: If you or your peers are competing in an officially broadcast tournament, your live ratings and rankings will now dynamically update on our site after every played game across all categories.
Photos: Profile photos are now visible within the main rating lists. If you would like to add or update your photo, feel free to send a clear picture to our email.
Player Profiles & Previews: Every FIDE player now has a dedicated profile featuring live and historical ratings. You can easily switch between the Classical, Rapid, and Blitz tabs inside the profile or the desktop hover preview to track live updates for yourself, friends, or students.
Spark-Charts: The mini-charts on the main page now display a continuous 12-month trend that seamlessly includes the current month's live rating.
Cleaner Interface: We've made several structural refinements across the site to modernize its appearance. These visual enhancements reduce clutter and provide a much more comfortable browsing experience.
Search & Advanced Filters: You can use our comprehensive filters or the search bar to precisely locate players by Name, Country, Title, Rating, or FIDE ID.
The Original Look: If you prefer the traditional layout, click the gear icon above the table to customize your view. From there, you can hide player photos, toggle player previews, or switch between the 12-month trend charts and the traditional Classical, Rapid, and Blitz columns.
